About Us
In 2004, we moved to Ohio from Rhode Island and left "CITY-LIFE"
behind. We moved onto a small 5 acre farm in Hartford, Ohio. Our dream
of owning a small scale farm to raise our son and some animals was
finally happening. We started with 5 female Pygmy goats, for our son's
9th birthday. Over the past year our herd has increased in size we now
have a wethered Nubian goat, Patches, 14 beautiful Pygora does and 2
handsome Pygora bucks.
We recently decided to raise and breed only Pygora goats due to their
wonderful fleece. The fiber is so silky smooth and velvety to the touch.
We are in the process of expanding our herd to include a total of 12
Pygoras, 2 of those to be bucks. We will start to breed our current
"ladies" late this fall with babies/kids to be born in early April 2008. We
are looking forward to it.
